The most convenient areas to choose the accommodation and to be close to the program venue would be anywhere close to the purple subway line (L2), such as the Eixample, Passeig de Gràcia, Sagrada Família, Universitat, Monumental, St. Antoni, Paral.lel, etc… area:

Meeting Point

Keep in mind that during the course we will always meet at the same point that is easily accessible via public transportation. The meeting point will be the underground station of LA PAU.  Purple line L2 or Yellow line L4.

Public Transportation

Public transportation is the most recommended type of transportation in the city of Barcelona.

You can take all city buses and subway with all-in-one integrated metro-card that costs 7.70 € for 10 trips and it's called T-10.

Barcelona Airports

Barcelona has two major airports:

Barcelona - El Prat - International Airport

FROM AND TO THE BARCELONA - EL PRAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

• Train: Leaves every 30 minutes from the airport to the stations of Sants Estació, Passeig de Gràcia and Clot-Aragó. The cost of a single ticket is 2.80€ or is valid the integrated city metro-card.
• Bus:    Aerobus airport – Plz. Catalunya:

• Terminal 1: every 8 to 15 min depending on rush hour. Price: single ticket 5€, roundtrip 8.65€

• Terminal 2: every 8 to 15min. Price: single ticket 4.25€, roundtrip 7.30€
• Taxi: to anywhere in the city, there is not a fixed price. It can be approximately from 20 to 30€

Barcelona - Girona - Internationa Airport

FROM AND TO THE BARCELONA - GIRONA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:

• Bus: The best and easiest way to travel from Girona airport to Barcelona. It takes you approximately 1h and it brings you to Barcelona - Estació del Nord. The price is around 20€
